I just recently got this pedal, and I’ll be honest, when I first started messing with it, it was a little hard to use, I’m not the type to read directions so thats probably part of it, but after a few minutes I had the basic idea of what all the knobs did in all the different settings. One of my favorite features of this pedal is the reverse delay and the looper. Also The 300 mS + mod sounds really cool with the pitch modulation in the delay.
The Positives:
- 7 Awesome Delays with a programmable preset on each
- Up to 30 seconds of loop time
- Tap tempo footswitch
- One of the most creative pedals I’ve ever used (By that I mean it helps me be creative)
- Another cool feature is the low pass and high pass filter… Awesome!
The Negatives
- I think the controls are a bit confusing, although after using it for a while you will get the hang of it, and also reading the instructions I’m sure would help
- In my opinion the reverb that they put on the delay using the decay pedal in Echo mode doesn’t sounds very good, just kinda messy
Does it Rock? Yes, if you want a great, creative delay pedal with lots of different sounds to mess with, The Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai is the pedal you need.
(I will have a video review of it up soon, so look for that in the next week or so.)
