Although I was a Tracktion 2 guy for many years and now am a Pro Tools guy, I think that Tracktion 3 is a great product. Mackie really does deserve alot more credit for their work on their software. Tracktion 3 has tons of plugins, is really user friendly and produces great sounds! In Mackie Tracktion 3 editing is so easy, the recording process is really fast, and everything just works so smoothly together. Really, this software is an amazing deal, for a fraction of the price of Pro Tools you get 99% of the important things that Protools does, and to be honest, Tracktion 3 probably does some of it even better, and definitely alot of the features are easier to use. So if you don’t want to spend thousands of dollars on a program that is hard to use, like Pro Tools, Buy Tracktion 3!
