Remodeled Guitar

by Seth Weber on July 7, 2010

On monday, my friend Abhishek and I remodeled a cheap Squier Strat, it doesn’t sound any better, but it looks way cooler, here are some pics;

It took about 6 hours to sand it down, all by hand, (it was black sunburst before.) And total including painting, disassembly, and re-assembly about 8 hours. Like I said, it doesn’t sound any better, but I think it looks pretty cool, and definitely very unique. I hope Abhishek enjoys his newly revamped Squier Strat. And I hope everyone who sees this is inspired to be creative and unique with the way their guitar looks, the sound is important, but having something that looks different than anyone else’s is always fun too!

FREE Song Download from my band!!!

by Seth Weber on June 18, 2010

My Band is still in the process of recording, and we’ve decided to give people a tiny little sample of the album with this free song: When I Met You

It’s not quite done being mixed, and the mastering isn’t final either. (For the final album we’re not even sure if we are going to master it ourselves or send it to someone else.)

I had my friend Austin who plays bass write me another review (he wrote a review of the Clone Theory for me a while ago). Anyway I will let his writing speak for it’s self-
“This pedal is basically the original Big Muff but attuned to bass frequencies.   Let me start out by saying that this [...]

Sennheiser HD280 Pro Headphones

December 5, 2009

These headphones are top of the line! I have used them for many years and have loved them every second, they are perfect for any studio or other application that big fat headphones are neccesary. They’re really actually decently light and small for studio headphones. They keep the sound inside (isolated), so that it doesn’t [...]

Voice Capo

November 23, 2009

Ok, I just found this, I’ve never heard of it before, and it’s not available on any of the main music gear retailer websites. It’s called the Voice Capo, and it’s only available on their website www.VoiceCapo.com. Seems like it could be a pretty cool thing to mess around with, and great for adding creativity to [...]

EHX Germanium OD

November 20, 2009

The door rang, I walked upstairs thinking it was someone at the door, but when I opened the door, to my suprise was nothing. I looked down, a brown box sat there. It could have been 1 of 2 things I had coming to me, my pedal, or my new modem. Wanting to find out [...]
